World Woman, Sunday June 3rd, 5-7 PM.
HOLLY NEAR. Julia Crawford interviews Holly Near about her music, her perspectives on various issues, and her song-writing process. Several of her pieces are also performed.

High Lonesome Sound, Sunday June 3rd, 10 PM-12 AM.
CATHY BARTON, DAVE PARA, AND TAYLOR MCBAINE OLD TIME BLUEGRASS DAY 1984 AT TIGER HOTEL. Barton, Para, and McBaine perform several bluegrass and old-time tunes. They also sing some songs and discuss the music in this recording of a live festival event.

LEE RUTH 1977. Lee Ruth, Jack Williams, Tony Linedecker, and Steve Hutchison jam live on the air one night in 1977. They perform a variety of tunes.

GRASSLAND EXPRESS 1984 AT TIGER HOTEL Lennon Kivetts, Lloyd Rote, Dave Smith, Gary Kivetts, Dana Little, and Rusty Fowlkes perform a variety of bluegrass tunes.

Blue Highways No Limit, Thursday June 14th, 10 PM-12 AM.
APPLIANCE ORCHESTRA A quasi concert where several pieces are performed using appliances ranging from an egg-beater to a washing machine with occasional vocal accompaniment. GYPSY FIRE: ON TOUR IN COLUMBIA, MO 1976 The group Gypsy Fire performs a variety of songs, chants, and pieces, accompanied by drums and other instruments.

Blues on Broadway, Saturday June 16th 8-10 PM.
TEMPORARY BLUES BAND FROM THE BOON COUNTY LIVE 1983. Rick Aiken, Brad Aiken, Rick Sickle, and James Cunningham perform blues music live in a band that was created specially for this performance.

Good Sounds of Jazz, Tuesday June 19th 8-9 PM.
RAGTIME OF THE MISSOURI VALLEY: DAVID THOMAS ROBERTS AND TREVOR TICHNER WITH MAX SCHLITZ. Three musicians perform at the first annual fall ragtime festival in Columbia. Trevor Tichner, called the dean of ragtime music in Missouri, plays pieces by composers ranging from Scott Joplin to Blind Boone. 12 year-old ragtime protÇgÇ Max Schlitz performs a piece. David Thomas Roberts also performs a range of ragtime pieces.

BOONVILLE FIDDLE CONTEST 1977. Featuring fiddling from Taylor McBaine, Billy Lee, Hank Thompson, Gene Wells, Jake Hockemeyer, Fred Stoneking, Pete McMahan, and Charlie Walden.

KOKO TAYLOR LIVE AT THE BRIEF ENCOUNTER 1979. Koko Taylor performs several blues numbers at the Brief Encounter in Columbia, with back-up from other blues musicians.
