1st Sundays: Dallas Dey
Local to Columbia, Missouri since 1989, for Dallas music is one of the great experiences of life. Especially when people are brought together by music - something happens in that time and place.
Listening to music and having conversations are what Dallas enjoys being a part of as a volunteer programmer at KOPN.
As a musician and DJ, Dallas has a special place in his heart for artists who are independent and emerging artists whose work will continue to blossom. As well as all of the artists who influence their culture and community and inspire the vision we have for our own lives.
2nd & 4th Sundays: Pippa

Born in England, I grew up in Canada and Australia. My family came “home” to England when I was ten but I was already an Aussie at heart, in love with the old convict songs from Botany Bay, the same songs and Scots-Irish fiddle tunes at the root of American old-time and bluegrass music.
I arrived in Columbia in 1986 and started volunteering at KOPN in 1987. I hosted the “High Lonesome Sound” show for about thirty years and then, during Covid, moved over to world music. I’ve been traveling the world sonically ever since.
