On Jazz + Blues = Soul I guess I am proudest of my phone interviews (Ike turner, Bobby Bland) but my barbecuing prowess (5 time champion… retired) should not be discounted.

In the 80's I did the "Frank and Charlie Show" until the cops busted that up. I can't really talk much about that show as there's to this day a lot of litigation pending. through the 90's I did the bi-weekly , critically acclaimed "Kevin Walsh show" and alternated with "Not Kevin" who I never met... oddly. Since 2000 I've hosted the "So-Called" good life which has featured besides music and nonsense, countless musical guest performers including North Mississippi All-Stars, Conor Oberst, Shelby Lynn, Big Head Todd..basically anyone I could trick into doing it.
