I grew up with my parents' discarded jazz and pop records and was also enchanted by the wonderful soundtracks to old cartoons, "Our Gang", Laurel & Hardy, etc. So when I first heard the Wolverines Band live in a local concert, I shouted "Whoopee Hey Hey" and have been an avid fan of vintage recordings ever since. Hepcats' Holiday has been on the air (off an on) since 1986, part of a long tradition of early jazz shows on KOPN!
