Iysha Jackson
Iysha Jackson, professionally and affectionately known as Sticks, is a voice actor, radio and podcast host, and board operator hailing from the great city of Memphis, Tennessee. She has been a resident of Missouri since 2006. She spends her days as an Audio Strategist connecting communities to their university and professional sports leagues via the magic of radio. Storytelling has been the vehicle of evolution since the earth began and radio is the greatest tool in continuing to share tradition, culture, and truth. Scout and Sticks host the KOPN podcast "POCket Change" where they explore the themes of race and femininity as it relates to mainstream media. Sticks, also, hosts the show "The Blacktop" focusing on women in and around sports.

Scout is a KOPN 89.5 FM Radio Programmer and Host for Women’s Issues, Women’s Voices: A Day in Her-Story, the creator and co-host of the cultural commentary podcast Pocket Change, and a self-produced voice actor with a passion for audio storytelling that centers truth, justice, and representation.
Originally from California, Scout relocated to Missouri in 2001 and has lived in Columbia since 2020, where she now resides with her husband and three children. Her lived experience as a woman of color and mother deeply informs her approach to both fiction and non-fiction broadcasting—blending personal narrative with political awareness, cultural history, and creative activism.
From spotlighting community voices to unpacking the emotional undercurrents of mainstream media, Scout’s work challenges listeners to think, feel, and reflect. Her shows are rooted in radical empathy, resilience, and the transformative power of storytelling.
