Administrative Manager

(this position replaces the position Office Manager)
Full-time, FSLA Exempt: typically 40 hours Monday-Friday days with occasional evenings and weekends for special events
Salary:  $35,000-$40,000
Benefits:  Paid vacation and sick leave
Reports to the Executive Director
Coordinate with the Executive Director and the Operations Manager to manage overall station operation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation in the office and the studios.  
Records and Front Office
Process receipts and invoices, prepare bank deposits and prepare checks
Enter and maintain correct bookkeeping data for revenue and payments; provide fiscal information requested by accountants, Executive Director, and Board of Directors
Participate in organizing and providing materials for outside audits
Maintain organized, searchable physical and electronic files for the organization
Maintain up-to-date member contact information 
Maintain the website; monitor and update social media  
Greet and assist visitors
Answer and direct phone calls 
Ensure that the office is staffed during open hours (9-5)
Compile required quarterly Issues and Programs reports for the FCC Public File for KOPN
Assist with management of radio traffic (scheduled content) and automation software
Create and print daily broadcast logs; review completed logs and keep required records 
Highlight errors in logs and remind programmers of requirements
Monitor e-mail for PSAs and edit scripts to comply with FCC regulations for non-commercial educational stations
Maintain up-to-date volunteer information system
Monitor new volunteer applications; on-board new volunteers
Coordinate with other staff for assignment of volunteer duties and scheduling
Coordinate volunteer training in cooperation with other staff
Schedule off-air volunteers
Supervise community service volunteers assigned to KOPN
Work with the Executive Director in fundraising, donor relations, and development
Participate in planning and coordinating community events
Support fundraising
Assist in documentation for underwriting
Pledge drives: participate in planning and promotion, recruit and organize volunteer participation, 
participate in phone bank, maintain records of donations, send thank you gifts and notes
Other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Computer proficiency including skilled use of MS Office
Willingness and ability to learn pertinent technical skills (hardware and software)
Ability to interact successfully with professional and non-professional individuals and groups
Ability to work well under pressure and without direct supervision
Two years of successful relevant experience
