New Wave Corp./KOPN 89.5 FM of Columbia, MO, seeks qualified candidates for the position of general manager.

KOPN is a community-supported public radio station. Since 1973, KOPN has provided diverse music, local news and talk, and syndicated programming from National Public Radio and Pacifica Radio Network.

The general manager reports to a community-elected board of directors and supervises a small paid staff and large corps of volunteers. Duties include oversight of volunteer orientation and training; grants, fundraising and underwriting; financial management of the station; maintenance of facilities and equipment; and community outreach. Salary range is $35,000 – $55,000.
