The December 2016 meeting of the KOPN/New Wave Corporation board was held on the 20th day of the month in the Cope Ashlock Room at the station.

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. In attendance were David Owens, Curt Wohleber, Gail Plemmons, Dan Hemmelgarn, Tao Weilundemo, Heather O’Connor, Laird Okie, and John Betz.

A guest was present, Kevin “Seven” Rae, who is interested in observing a board meeting. He may be interested in the possibility of running for a seat on the board.

 

The financial report was given by John Betz.

Total Income for the month was $6,533.87 and expenses were $7,314.45.

 

The manager’s report was given by David Owens.

The annual meeting will be held in January at the Unity Center. The room is reserved for the 15th from 3-7 p.m. The meeting will be 4-6 p.m.

 

A new auditor is needed, and a committee was formed to choose one. The members will be Tao, John, and Dan. The audit is due in the near future.

 

Motion to adjourn was made at 8:27 p.m. by John Betz, seconded by Laird and passed via unanimous voice vote. The board then went into closed meeting to discuss the financial situation.
