Ida Jane

I have been actively involved in Columbia's music scene since 1994 as a member of the "Ironweed Bluegrass Band" and "The Greencorn Stingband." I was asked by Mitch Jayne to take over the "Mitch and Diana's Kitchen" show in 1998. I knew it would be an excellent way to continue bringing only the finest in bluegrass, vintage country and hillbilly twang to the community. I realized it would also inhance my own personal musical studies. I love the city of Columbia and the midwest and I embrace opportunities that only make it better. It is especially delightful to do this through community radio.

The Sunday Night Stringbender Show brings you only the "finest" in bluegrass, vintage country and hillbilly twang. The first hour is devoted to hard-driving bluegrass. The second hour of the show consists of vintage country, old-timey, and our visiting "Stingbender Cousins" from other geners of music... cajun, western swing, tex-mex, Irish and more. Yall come join us now...
