Jacob George, an Afghan war vet, will perform his original acoustic music. George and other vets are actively promoting the “Right to Heal” campaign urging US leaders to direct soldiers suffering from PTSD, head injuries or sexual trauma toward helping services—not back to war.
A potluck dinner will take place, welcoming George, who’s biking with others across the country until the US wars end.

05/25/2013 -- March against Monsanto
activists will be leading a
March Against Monsanto.
Here in Columbia, the March will start
at City Hall at 1 PM and end
at the corner of Rollins Rd. and College Avenue. The purpose is to protect our food supply,
support local farmers and
raise awareness about the potential harm
of genetically modified foods.
